Dr. Scott Russinoff is board certified and fellowship trained in joint replacement surgery including Hip and Knee replacement and Resurfacing, and revision surgery. Dr. Russinoff is an Attending Orthopaedic Surgeon at Westchester Medical Center and Hudson Valley Hospital Center. Dr. Russinoff is one of only several surgeons trained in the New York and Hudson Valley areas in Hip Resurfacing Surgery. He has offices in Cortlandt Manor/Peekskill, Jefferson Valley, and Fishkill, NY. Dr. Russinoff has performed over 1,000 joint replacement surgeries.
Dr. Russinoff received his medical degree from SUNY Downstate Medical School in Brooklyn, NY. He did his Orthopaedic residency at New York Medical College. He did his Joint Replacement Fellowship at the Florida Orthopaedic Institute where he sub-specialized in hip replacement and knee replacement surgery.
Dr. Russinoff is an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at New York Medical College where he teaches the next generation of Orthopaedic Sugeons. He is the author of several research papers and has lectured and presented his research at international conferences.
Dr. Russinoff's research on Computer Navigation for Hip Replacement Surgery and Knee Replacement Surgery was recently accepted for presentation at the Eastern Orthopaedic Society Meeting in October, 2008.
